The Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale is a quiet, scenic spot that's peppered with people walking their dogs and couples strolling along hand in hand. Here, you can enjoy lovely views of the boats and landscape throughout. 

Each October, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show takes place in Fort Lauderdale, bringing over 100,000 visitors to the city. It's the largest in-water boat show in the world, with over 1,300 boats on display. 

In April, the city hosts the Las Olas Food and Wine Festival. For over 26 years, attendees have sampled wine and cuisine from nationally recognized wineries and restaurants throughout South Florida. Proceeds from the event support the American Lung Association, making it a fun and worthwhile event to attend.

Fort Lauderdale's Winterfest Boat Parade is rated the top 20th parade in the United States and the 7th largest one-day spectator event in the country. More than one million spectators gather each December to watch the 12-mile boat parade pass, where boats are decorated with festive lights and holiday decor.
